EXCELLENCE
IN INTERACTIVE MARKETING AWARD
NACCU is proud to introduce the
Excellence in Interactive Marketing Award to honor
the best results-based Card Program marketing
campaign that emphasizes use of electronic,
interactive, and online media.
This award
is presented to a NACCU Institutional member
that demonstrates excellence in marketing
strategy with emphasis on interactive
opportunities. Eligibility for this award
requires:

A documented
Marketing Plan
-
Demonstrated use
of a variety of tools and actions including
but not limited to electronic media
-
Demonstrated
return on investment either financially,
through enhanced customer service, and/or
achievement of a university initiative
Electronic media
includes blogs, RSS feeds and social media;
strategic and targeted programs that use
Web-based interactive and social networking
tools (such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn)
for business development, marketing or
recruiting purposes; CD-ROM; interactive media;
computer simulation; animation; electronic
multimedia presentations; videos on YouTube.
Evaluation
Criteria
Nominations
will be evaluated on the following criteria:
Opportunity:
Define the
opportunity and how was it identified.
Plan:
List innovative or
appropriate strategies and/or channels, which
were defined and implemented relative to the
specific marketing opportunity.
Creativity:
Illustrate originality of the strategies and/or
channels used to capitalize on the opportunity.
Execution:
Critique the implementation of the plan. What
were the measurable results? Is there any piece
of the plan you would now execute differently?

Requirements

Must
be a NACCU institutional member
2.
All entries are
required to submit the nomination form, as well
as a Marketing Plan

nomination. Nominations will be received between
December 7, 2009 and February 5, 2010.
Evaluation Method
The committee will score each of the
criteria above using a common scoring
method.
The top three highest scores as evaluated by
the committee
will be required to provide additional
information, including detailed marketing
examples, to be presented to the NACCU
membership.
Online voting for the three nominations will
determine the Award recipient.
Voting
All NACCU members will
be invited to vote for their favorite. Voting
will commence on February 15, 2010 and will
close on March 1, 2010. All three finalists will
be featured at the NACCU Annual Conference with
the winner being announced during the Awards
Luncheon.
