Nominations Now Accepted for NACCU Board of Directors

NACCU began in 1993 as, among other things, a desire to develop a network that colleges and universities could use to ask questions and share ideas with others involved in our quickly expanding industry.  The individuals who initiated these first steps also served as the very first Board of Directors.

As the years have passed, NACCU has grown by leaps and bounds.  This growth can be attributed to a number of factors, but is in no small part due to the outstanding members who have volunteered to serve as Board Members.  When I began my association with NACCU in 2001 I was amazed at the extensive network of members that stood ready to help me become more familiar with this industry that we all know and (usually) love.  Some of the most helpful of all were past and present NACCU Board members.  The really great thing about these individuals was that, while obviously very busy, they always found time to stop and chat, answer questions, and pass along experiences.

It is a tremendous honor and privilege for me to have the opportunity to serve each of you as a member of the current Board and I can only hope I have been, and will continue to be, as helpful to each of you.   Currently nominations are being accepted for positions on the Board.  This is a great chance for you to help shape NACCU’s future.  If you feel you have more to give to NACCU, or know someone you feel does, please consider submitting a nomination.  To submit a nomination, please click here.  The deadline for nominations is Friday, September 11, 2009.
