SkyCard Office Manager Auxiliary Services Fort Lewis College Durango, Colorado

About the Position:
This newly created full-time position will provide leadership and direction to the Fort Lewis College SkyCard (one-card) Office. The position will be responsible for all functions of the office, including coordination with administrators and departments to promote the program and provide a service oriented environment. Anticipated start date is May 1, 2008.
Primary Responsibilities:
The SkyCard Office Manager will be responsible for assisting the Director of Auxiliary Services with all activities associated with the College one-card program. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to, the following:
· Supervise the issuance and replacement of all campus cards.
· Develop and maintain necessary controls/procedures for all operations and locations including daily system management, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting.
· Hire, train, and supervise all FLC SkyCard Office student workers.
· Prepare, analyze, and reconcile financial/sales reports in conjunction with participating College departments.
· Provide transportation (city bus) stickers and sell parking decals.
· Develop and maintain a budget for the FLC SkyCard Office, including personnel, equipment, and supplies.
· Work closely with College offices (especially Controllers, IT and Physical Plant Services) to ensure system integrity with respect to all data, transactions and communications.
· Serve as the primary point of contact with all hardware and software vendors. Coordinate SkyCard program with bank partner as needed.
· Coordinate with all campus departments that have card applications to assess their needs, equipment placement and installation services.
· Develop appropriate new applications and assist campus departments in planning for future implementation of card uses.
· Develop and implement comprehensive campus and off-campus marketing and promotional strategies, including maintenance of the SkyCard website.
· Recommend and evaluate enhancements to the SkyCard program.
Qualifications:
· A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required; bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a closely related discipline preferred.
· Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills at various levels, as well as strong organizational and planning skills.
· Minimum two years work experience in business management, computer systems management, systems database or network system support. Related software knowledge is preferred.
