Provide professional technical support, analysis, recommendations and first and second level support for the Campus Card Services equipment (technology) within the Campus Card environment on a university-wide basis. Support also includes administrative support encompassing the review of policies and procedures, the maintaining, updating and recommendations for changes to Card Office Policy Manuals (both technical and non-technical), and supporting OIT as needed to identify, isolate and correct system and equipment related failures that directly impact the working environment of the Card System. This position will work with limited supervision, and is proactive in identifying opportunities to increase the technical applications for the Campus Card program.  
1. Work on the Campus Card ID production system ? entering cardholder data, retrieving records, taking digital images, and sending all information to the print station. Provide customer service as needed to ensure 100% customer/patron satisfaction.

2. Duties include analyzing, managing, or performing work necessary to plan, design, develop, acquire, document, test, implement, integrate, maintain or modify systems that encompass the Card System.

3. Maintain the ID database including report generation software and the associated functions to ensure the integrity of data.

4. Train specific University personnel in the operation of all readers, POS devices, C2C machines, print release stations and ancillary off-line equipment.

5. Responsible for all new Card Office Employee Training on software, hardware, network and systems services (IDMS, IDUTILS, CCure, etc.) that impact the success of the Card Program.

6. Research and print cardholder transaction history when requested.

7. Conduct all data collections from all POS, Vending, Pay-for-Print and Photo-Copiers on Main Davie Campus and SEC's and collate the data accordingly for billing reconciliation.

8. Act, in conjunction with OIT, as technical SME (Subject Matter Expert) for all Campus Card equipment.

9. Actively analyzes problems as identified and works independently (or within a group setting) to resolve problems promptly.

10. Maintains all hardware/software inventories, and updates device location spreadsheets.

11. Maintain, support and upgrade as required (In conjunction with OIT) all hardware and software on Card Office equipment.

12. Perform daily system checks on readers and administrative POS devices to ensure proper billing and transactional accuracy, and support the card production system and reader's network on all campuses.

13. Act as liaison with other centers and departments at NSU and the outlying campuses on upgrades, installs and maintaining card reading equipment, currency collection instruments and other ancillary devices that touch the Campus Card Network.

14. Create, update and re-engineer process and procedural guides both from an administrative and technical standpoint.

15. Serve as technical adviser to management on the evaluation and effectiveness of existing technologies currently being used by Card Office Operations, and formulate and develop policies and procedures surrounding the usage of such technologies.

16. Offer suggestions on alternative technologies that will increase service, reduce cost and streamline operations.

17. Work with the Campus Card Coordinator and Director of Campus Card Services on strategic initiatives to grow the program from a technical standpoint.

18. Other duties as defined by the Director of Campus Card Services.

1. Excellent skills in planning, organizing, communication, attention to detail, and judgment.

2. Knowledge of computer technology for ID card production such as IDMS, SmartCity or similar technology.

3. Knowledge of a Campus ID Card Office.

4. Knowledge of information processing methodology / technology, and computer capabilities.

5. Demonstrated PC experience with various Microsoft Suites of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and additional systems or services including the Internet, and remote access).

6. Demonstrated ability to express complex technical issues to a host of audiences.

7. Ability to work well under stress, with limited supervision, and within given budget and time frames.

8. Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds.

9. Must be able to travel to vendor locations or NSU campuses for implementations, upgrades, installs or meetings.

10. Must have a working knowledge of IDMS or other card software and Banner.

11. Must possess good typing ability and the communication skills to deal promptly and appropriately with staff, faculty members, students and vendors on a variety of topics.  
 
 
 
Associate's Degree or 60 College credits  
Computer Sciences, Business Administration or related field  
Four years of full-time related administrative and technical work experience in a card office/Smart Card environment.  
1. Four year Bachelors degree in Computer Sciences, Business Administration, or related field preferred with 2-4 years of full-time related administrative and technical work experience in a card office/Smart Card environment.

2. Experience with Banner, IDMS, CCure, Banner, and database management software.

3. Experience with and full understanding of Campus Card environment from a hardware, technical, and implementation standpoint.

4. Demonstrated experience providing a high level of Customer Service.

5. Excellent skills in planning, organizing, communication, attention to detail, and judgment.

6. Bilingual in English/Spanish.
