The Blackboard Transact platform includes capabilities within two integrated modules:

• Commerce Management: facilitates campus ID card issuance, cashless payment processing, account management and reporting on-campus, off-campus, and online.
• Security Management: monitors all campus activity using integrated door access control, video surveillance and mass notification capabilities.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone to manage our new campus ID card offering, responsible for building and growing this important part of the Blackboard Transact business.  The ideal candidate will work with card suppliers, understand the identification card manufacturing and production process, support the Blackboard Transact sales team, and fully manage the sourcing and delivery of campus ID card stock to our client base.   

The Director of Campus Card Operations will play an integral role in the success of this new offering from Blackboard Transact.  Specifically she/he will be responsible for:

·        Developing a process for the production, billing and delivery of campus ID cards to our clients.

·        Assisting the sales team where appropriate in pitching and closing card fulfillment business.

·        Managing third party vendors to deliver quality product to our clients while meeting client delivery timelines.

·        Working with Marketing to develop campaigns and manage client requests for card design.

·        Securing client approval of all production materials.

·        Ensuring that client and vendor bills are processed in a timely manner.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED SKILLS:

·        Bachelor’s degree.

·        4-5 years of related experience in the ID card technology, payment, security and/or higher education industries.

·        Knowledge of any of the following various ID card technologies: mag stripe, FeliCa, iClass, Mifare, or Proximity.

·        Strong project management and coordination skills.

·        Ability to excel in a fluid, cross-functional team environment.
