Texas Christian University
(TCU) seeks applications for
the position of ID Center
Manager and CBORD
Administrator.
The Manager is
responsible for the overall
management of the office
that produces the Campus ID
card used for campus-wide
building access, dining
service access and
purchases, and other on- and
off-campus purchases.
As the primary CBORD
administrator on campus,
this position manages CBORD
Gold Version 6 software to
insure that the day-to-day
access control, software and
hardware configuration, and
dining services support is
fully functioning.
In this role, the
Manager is responsible for
recommending and
implementing system changes,
setting priorities,
performance monitoring,
researching new and enhanced
methods of delivering
services on campus, and
developing plans for new
installations.
The ID Center Manager
will receive technical
guidance and support from
the Division of Student
Affairs Lead Business
Analyst and reports to the
Executive Director for
Student Affairs
Administration.
Leading a team of two other
full-time ID Center
coordinators, the Manager
will take the lead in
programming door access and
other hardware before
installation and will
troubleshoot software and
some hardware problems.
The ID Center manager
will work closely with
Housing and Residential
Services, Dining Services,
Physical Plant, Technology
Resources, Student Accounts,
and various vendors.
This position primarily
works weekdays but there
will be on-call evening and
weekend duties.
Significant
Responsibilities:
·
Operate CBORD Gold system
including programming access
and alarms.
·
Consult with on-campus and
CBORD technical experts as
necessary.
·
Program access and vending
hardware prior to
installation.
·
Troubleshoot hardware and
software issues.
·
Maintain ID card system and
card related networks.
·
Maintain integrity of
financial information.
·
Ongoing development and
updating of policies,
procedures and standards
related to the ID Card
program.
Minimum Requirements:
·
Bachelor degree or
equivalent experience
·
3 years of related CBORD
experience and two years of
supervisory experience
·
Two of the following three
CBORD Certifications:
CS Gold System
Administrator Course, CS
Gold Access System Course,
or CS Gold Access Action and
Response Management Course.
