University Housing and Dining Services is seeking two System Administrators to provide administration and support for the various stand-alone and networked hardware and software applications used by the department. These positions are primarily responsible for the analysis, configuration, implementation, integration, security, documentation, training, administration, and ongoing support of several critical departmental systems, including the Blackboard point-of-sale system and StarRez housing management system, as well as other smaller applications.
A qualified candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems or an appropriate related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience. Reasonable (3-5 yrs) to extensive (5-7 yrs) experience and expertise in systems administration in a production Windows environment is required.
