SmartCentric to provide An Post (The Irish Postal Service) with next generation applications for Billpay and eTop-up

Dublin, Ireland and West Palm Beach, Florida, United States: 

SmartCentric Technologies International Ltd (SmartCentric) today announced it has been chosen by An Post (the Irish Postal Service) to develop it’s next generation of Bill Pay and Phone Top up (Etopup) applications for its retail network PostPoint. 

The applications that allow customers to pay their utilities bill such Gas, Phone and other bills at their local PostPoint retail outlet as well as topping up mobile phones, are being redeveloped to take advantage of the latest advances in terminal and security technologies.  The new applications will be rolled out during 2007 out as part of a broad range of services to the Irish market through the PostPoint network.
