SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. Oct.
4, 2005--Students at Seton Hall University can now
carry the campus colors in their wallets, as PNC Bank announced
today an
agreement to provide University check cards. The new cards are
available
to any PNC customer, including Seton Hall students, faculty and
staff. PNC
offers the cards as part of its University Banking relationship with
the
school.
PNC
entered into a relationship with Seton Hall in 2004. As one of PNC's
10 alliance schools, students have access to a variety of PNC
resources,
including free checking and savings accounts, free Auto Alerts and
one free
wire transfer a month, perhaps from mom or dad. They can also attend
seminars including "Banking 101" and "Establishing and Keeping Good
Credit." Seton Hall students can also access a secure customized web
site
where they can open accounts before they ever get to campus. The new
check
card is an expansion of that relationship.
