The Mini
and Full-size MagneSafe readers are
the traditional form factors (100mm
and 165mm in length respectively)
and are targeted for business and
industry. The Mini and Full-size
MagneSafe readers not only read all
card data but also offer all the
security benefits of the MagneSafe
family of readers.
The
MagneSafe P55 and P90 are the first
portable models that are small
enough to fit in the palm of your
hand and can be easily carried in
your pocket or travel bag. These are
personal readers offered in multiple
vibrant colors that are fun and
attractive for consumers. The P55
and P90 are ideal for online and
transaction payment applications
where mobility and security are
paramount for the consumer.
The MagneSafe BT90 (similar form
factor as the P90) is the wireless
model offering the convenience of a
Bluetooth interface, capable of
establishing a wireless,
bi-directional communication with a
PC or mobile phone. The other
readers in the family communicate
via the common USB interface.
