PNC Bank Announces
Extension of University
Banking Contract with
Duquesne University
PITTSBURGH, February 19, 2009 –
PNC Bank, National Association,
has announced the five-year
renewal of its University
Banking contract with Duquesne
University, extending the
contract established in 1996
through December, 2014.
This relationship provides more
than 10,000 students, faculty
and staff with a variety of PNC
resources geared towards the
college community, including
banking options for
students, faculty and employees,
an on-campus presence, mobile
banking and
customized co-branded Web sites.
PNC customers from Duquesne can
also register for free PNC
AutoAlerts to monitor spending
and account balances. Students
can receive one free incoming
wire transfer per monthly
statement cycle and one free
courtesy overdraft fee waiver
during the 12 months after
account opening.
Duquesne customers also benefit
from an electronic customer
service center, located in the
Student Union, featuring an
on-site customer service
representative and two advanced
function ATMs - in addition to
the four PNC ATMs located
on-campus.
PNC provides even more
convenience to students, faculty
and staff with the option to
link their Duquesne University
identification card to their PNC
accounts, adding ATM and
purchasing functionality to the
card used for daily
campus-related purposes such as
entering residence halls,
checking out library books and
accessing meal plans. The
co-branded PNC Bank Visa Check
Card, emblazoned with an image
of the campus fountain, can be
used at ATMs and to make
purchases anywhere Visa it
accepted.
