Wells Fargo selected as financial services provider
for Minnesota State University, Mankato MavCARD
MANKATO, Minn., April 23, 2009 – Minnesota State
University, Mankato has selected Wells Fargo as the
new financial services provider for the Minnesota
State Mankato MavCARD, giving students, faculty and
staff access to Wells Fargo’s comprehensive
selection of financial services and products.
The
MavCARD is a multifunctional campus identification
card that the Minnesota State Mankato community can
use for ATM access, PIN debit card purchases,
university dining, library services, athletic game
admission and photocopying. Beginning this fall, the
Minnesota State Mankato community will have the
option to link their MavCARD to Wells Fargo checking
and savings accounts for ATM and PIN debit card
access. Also, Minnesota State Mankato’s Centennial
Student Union will become the home to a new Wells
Fargo banking location and ATM.

MavCARD provides on and off campus,” said Karen
Bunde, Minnesota State Mankato Campus Hub & MavCARD
operations supervisor. “To maintain the convenience
our campus community has come to enjoy and expect,
we chose Wells Fargo as our financial services
provider. They have a demonstrated commitment to
helping their customers succeed financially.”
MavCARD holders who link their cards to Wells Fargo
checking and savings accounts will have access to
Wells Fargo MobileSM, for banking
on-the-go via text messaging or mobile Web browser.
Also available to MavCARD holders: Wells Fargo
Online®, bill pay, direct deposit,
account alerts and access to more than 12,000 Wells
Fargo and Wachovia ATMS in 39 states.
