The Omega PS60 secures devices and documents by requiring users to authenticate themselves at the printer with a swipe of their ID card. Immediately after authentication, the PS60 releases all of the user's print jobs. Confidential documents are protected because they cannot be printed until their owners are physically present at the device and have been authenticated. For multifunction devices, authentication is required to print, copy, scan, e-mail, and fax.

Users can release their jobs at any printer controlled by a PS60 simply by swiping their ID card. If the printer they usually use is unavailable or it would just be more convenient for them to pick up their documents at another printer, they don't need to do anything special--just walk up to the printer of their choice and swipe their card.
