CBORD Announces Integrated Security Solutions Group

New business unit will enhance pre-sales support, partner development, and more

Ithaca, New York: The CBORD Group, Inc., the leading provider of campus one-card and integrated security solutions to colleges and universities and healthcare sites, is pleased to announce the formation of its Integrated Security Solutions Group. Providing focus for CBORD’s growing security business, the group will support the deployment of CBORD’s growing catalog of security hardware and software. The group will also manage an extensive supplier partner network.

Mathew Birnbaum, Integrated Security Solutions Group Manager, will lead the new business unit. Birnbaum has been building security operations at CBORD^® since 2007, building supplier business relationships and working with customers. Under his guidance and with the support of CBORD’s more than 420 employees, the group will be a strategic resource in planning how to meet customer needs, including system consulting, design, and implementation; strategic partner selection and management; product strategy; product management, and marketing.

CBORD’s partner program, known as the CBORD Data Xchange Program, includes an extensive variety of best-of-breed security providers. Industry leaders such as Ingersoll Rand, HID^®, NICE Systems, Pelco^®, and Cisco Systems^® are examples of partners with technology integrated with CBORD systems.
