New Bay Card offers convenience, access, banking
services
HAYWARD, Calif., Sept. 28 –
California State University East Bay (CSUEB) has
selected Wells Fargo as the financial services provider
for the new Bay Card, giving students, faculty and staff
access to Wells Fargo’s comprehensive selection of
financial services and products.
The CSUEB Bay Card is a
multifunctional campus identification card that the
CSUEB community can use for university dining, library
services, athletic game admission, printing, and
photocopying. Beginning this fall, the CSUEB community
will have the option to link their Bay Card to Wells
Fargo checking and savings accounts with the added
ability to use it for ATM and PIN debit card access.

opportunity with Wells Fargo for our students, faculty
and staff,” said Shawn Bibb, vice president and chief
financial officer at CSUEB. “After a competitive request
for proposal process, we selected Wells Fargo because of
the company’s commitment to the community and its track
record in the campus card market. We look forward to a

CSUEB Bay Card holders who link
their cards to Wells Fargo checking and savings accounts
will have access to Wells Fargo MobileSM
Banking for on-the-go text messaging or mobile Web
browsing at wf.com. Also available to linked Bay Card
holders: Wells Fargo Online®, bill
pay, direct deposit, account alerts and access to more
than 12,000 Wells Fargo and Wachovia ATMS in 39 states.
