NuVision Networks Launches Updated Campus Center for CampusONE One Card System

Customizable Web Portal Gives Cardholders Freedom To Access One Card Services Online

NAPA, CA, February 3, 2011 – NuVision Networks (NVN) announced today the release of the second-generation Campus Center for use in CampusONE operating systems. Campus Center is a fully customizable web portal for use by colleges and universities to streamline One Card use across campus. Campus Center allows cardholders to view account balances and transaction history. Students can transfer money between accounts or place a lost or stolen card on hold instantly, while guests or parents can log in with cardholder defined guest access to deposit funds.

Campus Center functions as more than an online debit account. “We realize people are accustomed to conducting business online and are thrilled to be able to give students, and all cardholders, the option to buy tickets, pay fines or even order food from campus eateries from a single website,” said Bill Adoff, President of NVN. Campus Center is included as part of NVN’s standard issue CampusONE One Card Suite and includes the following modules:

  • Account management
  • E-commerce
  • Student voting
  • Fee and fine payment
  • Ticket box office
  • Parking registration
  • Student directory
  • Help desk and FAQ

“Campus Center has changed the way we operate at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES). Students love it, and so does the staff! It’s visually attractive, easy to use and has cut down on formerly laborious tasks, like student voting,” said Alverne W. Chesterfield, Assistant Vice President for Administrative Affairs and Director of Auxiliary Enterprises at UMES, one of the schools chosen to test drive the new system, and a Campus Center user since 2002.
