Service Announcement - Upgrade your Datacard Printers Firmware

There is a CRITICAL Datacard FIRMWARE UPDATE if you use any of these Datacard Printers:

• SP75, SP55, SP35 and SP25
• SP75+, SP55+, SP35+ and SP25+
• Or any of the CP, CP+ line or FP line of Datacard Printers

If you fail to install this update the new generation Datacard ribbons will not work with your printers. The new generation of ribbons (the Go-Green Ribbons) will be shipping this year and will replace all existing ribbons for the aforementioned printers. The new generation of Datacard ribbons has a biodegradable supply core and improved security features. The new firmware will allow your printer to work with both the existing Datacard Ribbons and the new generation ribbons. Thus for continued operation of your printer, you should update your firmware now.

To upgrade to the new firmware, go to this web site www.datacard.com/GoGreen and click on the Download Now button and follow the instructions. If it would be easier for you to have a firmware CD, just contact your ColorID account manager and we will send you a CD.
