California State University
Northridge Expands Campus
E-Commerce
Additional CASHNetŽ eMarket
online storefront selected
at California State
University Northridge
[New Haven, CT – June 20,
2011] –
California State University
Northridge has extended its
Higher One product offering
by adding CASHNet eMarket
online storefront to its
campus website. By
partnering with Higher One,
a technology and payment
services company focused on
higher education, Cal State
Northridge is expanding its
electronic campus payment
solutions.
Cal State Northridge has
been a user of the CASHNet
ePayment transaction portal
and Cashiering service since
the early 1990’s. Adding
CASHNet eMarket online
storefront was an obvious
choice for Cal State
Northridge because the
interface is already
configured to its general
ledger.
The CASHNet eMarket online
storefront is currently
being used for students to
purchase parking permits for
on campus parking. Cal State
Northridge’s newest
storefront site will allow
its Valley Performing Arts
Center to provide patrons
with the ability to purchase
one day parking permits
online.
“Customer service and
reporting capabilities were
key factors as to why an
additional CASHNet eMarket
online storefront was chosen
for our Valley Performing
Arts Center,” says May Ligh,
Manager, Cash Management.
Other reasons why an
additional CASHNet eMarket
online storefront was
selected are:
ˇ
Already familiar with the
cashiering system set up by
item code and payment type
ˇ
No additional training was
needed for administration
ˇ
Simple to use and very
user-friendly
ˇ
Navigation to new website is
seamless; the look and
feel remains similar to Cal
State Northridge’s website
“We are very pleased with
the implementation of our
second CASHNet eMarket
online storefront on the
website,” explains Ligh.
“Higher One was very
patient, answered all of our
questions in a timely manner
and met our aggressive
timeline to get the
storefront up and running.”
