Blackboard
Users Conference To Be Held In Baltimore, Feb. 25-27, 2003
The annual Blackboard Users Conference will be held on February 25-27, 2003 at
the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Hotel in Baltimore, Maryland. This annual
conference is designed for Blackboard users only and offers the Blackboard user
community the opportunity to share ideas, network and foster new learning. In
addition, this conference enables Blackboard clients to communicate with
Blackboard and their partners. It is also an opportunity to learn more about the
Blackboard vision and strategic direction as well as the latest products and
services.
This conference reinforces Blackboard’s commitment to the
broad educational environment and will allow attendees to experience firsthand
the growing value of the Blackboard solution set. This year’s conference
theme, Empower, Enhance & Educate, will focus on how conference
attendees can use Blackboard for innovation in teaching, learning, community and
commerce.
Blackboard has listened to the suggestions and feedback from previous Users
Conference’s and is incorporating past attendees’ recommendations in the
design of the upcoming conference, in an effort to better tailor the conference
to its users’ needs.
The conference will offer Transaction System, Learning System and Community
Portal system specific breakout sessions, Hands-on Workshops and partner
presented sessions. Sessions will relate to all our various interest groups
including K12, International, Higher Education, Corporate and Association. In
addition, the Blackboard Users Conference 2003 will have an exhibit hall.
The agenda will feature the following tracks: Adoption,
Administration/Application, Planning and Integration, Hands-on Workshops and a
Partner Track. The program is in the process of being finalized and will be
announced soon. For more information on the conference visit www.blackboard.com.
