Unican is Now Shipping the Oracode 610
Stand-alone Electronic Pushbutton Lock

YORK, NEW YORK (USA), November 11, 2000 – Ilco Unican Inc. today announced
at the International Hotel Motel and Restaurant Show at booth # 3062, that the
Oracode 610 electronic pushbutton lock, which is
completely time sensitive without hardwire, is now shipping.
The
stand-alone Oracode 610 electronic cylindrical or mortise lock is not just a
security system; it’s a permanent solution to your front desk headaches. The
staff uses simple software to generate access codes for a guest’s stay,
according to the specified room number, security level, and arrival/ departure
dates. With one phone call, fax or e‑mail, guests know their room number
and their access code. One code lets them access their room and common areas,
and then it automatically expires at the end of their stay. The Oracode 610
eliminates the need for keys or cards. It is the resort’s choice whether
guest reservations are made at either an off-site, central location, on-site,
or through e-commerce.

Oracode 610 operates on four (4) AA standard alkaline batteries that are
protected by a factory-installed shrink-wrap and are easy to replace. Other
standard features include an audit memory capability for up to 2000 transactions
as well as an anti-pick latch and deadbolt to prevent forced entry.
