One of our major contributors to Blackboard Card Sales and Services is
Terry Hann.
After
50 years in this industry, Terry Hann, Vice President of Card Sales &
Services is retiring from Blackboard. Terry
began his career in the plastic card industry at Harco Industries, at that time
located in New York. In 1961, Harco
Industries moved to Phoenix and Terry moved as well.
While at Harco, one of Terry’s many accomplishments was creating an
innovative strap clip assembly, which gave Harco a name in the industry.
In the mid to late 70’s, Card Sales & Services kept the company
afloat while Harco initiated its entry to the one-card market at college and
university campuses. In November 1994, AT&T purchased Harco, and Terry become
Vice President of Card Sales & Services of AT&T CampusWide Access
Solutions. During his many years at AT&T, and now Blackboard, Terry
contributed his wealth of knowledge and expertise in the plastic card business
on a daily basis. Terry has now decided to enjoy his retirement by playing golf
on a daily basis.
Blackboard
is pleased to announce that Terry will be passing the baton to Lois Gamiel, who
has 12-plus years of plastic card experience and expertise. Lois has been
Terry’s ‘right-arm’ team member for the past six years. Blackboard’s Card Sales & Services not only distributes
quality I.D. cards, but also provides special event cards to many colleges and
universities. This includes, but is not limited to conference, visitor,
courtesy, dining, summer camp, guest and gift cards. We also furnish encoding,
sequential numbering and variable printing, bar code printing, along with slot
and hole punching services. In addition, we offer the knowledge and expertise
that is necessary to produce your specific identification or special event card.
