Each time a SMARTkeycard is used in the lock, the reader writes information to the contact smart card to record which lock has been accessed and at what time.  Managers can quickly audit staff SMARTkeycards by reviewing the last 100 transactions with the Front Desk Unit. Available in generic or custom-printed designs, the industry-standard SMARTkeycards can be printed with the hotel’s logo, mission statement, or photograph. 

With smart card technology, the Ilco Unican SolitaireSMART presents hotels with an array of possibilities. The SolitaireSMART lock could be configured to allow hotel guests to have the convenience of carrying one SMARTkeycard to serve as an electronic wallet, allowing guests to charge purchases such as room amenities, gaming, tickets, and vouchers. A customer loyalty program can allow guests to collect points toward rewards could be used as a powerful marketing tool.  Guest personal preference profiles can also be stored on the SMARTkeycard.  As an interface with energy management systems, the SMARTkeycard can also activate heating or air-conditioning. 

 The SolitaireSMART lock is available in a variety of finishes—satin chrome, satin brass PVD, bright brass PVD, black powder paint, and split and custom colors.
