The lock comes in various finishes including satin chrome, satin brass in full PVD, black or gray paint, split, and custom colors. The Solitaire 710-II lock also offers you a variety of features including mechanical, electrical, or removable override options.

Equipped with both visible and audible indicators, the Solitaire 710-II user-friendly lock is activated using a magnetic-stripe keycard, which is compliant to ISO standards and ABA dimensional specifications. The Solitaire 710-II lock is also fully upgradeable to other reader technologies including the SolitaireSMART stand-alone electronic lock, which is equipped with both contact smart card and magnetic-stripe reader technologies. It operates on 4 AA standard alkaline batteries that are protected by a factory-installed shrink-wrap and are easy to replace. Other standard features include an audit memory capability for up to 400 transactions as well as an anti-pick latch and deadbolt to prevent forced entry.

This durable lock is the centerpiece of the Solitaire System, consisting of a front desk unit, keycards, in-room safes, energy management, and other useful options, like Property Management System (PMS) interface software, stand-alone card readers and exit devices. The front desk unit features an advanced ergonomic design with a footprint smaller than a standard sheet of paper. Designed for up to 16,000 rooms per property, the system provides full audit tracking capability through infrared link, including keycard access control, single opening, expiration date, and time of keycard. This versatile and reliable security system can operate stand-alone or interface with your PMS. The system can also be factory-configured for Point-of-Sale use.

Designed to withstand various temperature ranges, the Solitaire 710-II stand-alone electronic lock comes with a two-year warranty. The Solitaire 710-II stand-alone electronic lock with an optional auto deadbolt will ship end of first Quarter 2001.
