Ilco Unican Unveils New Dimensions and Options of its
Solitaire 200 Series In-room Safe

NEW YORK, NEW YORK (USA), November 11, 2000 – Ilco Unican Inc. today announced at the International Hotel Motel and Restaurant Show at booth # 3062, that their Solitaire 200 series in-room safe has increased in depth by one inch. The safe’s new dimensions are 10 7/8” high by 16 ¼” wide by 13 ¾” deep.

“This extra one inch in depth guarantees that any laptop will fit comfortably inside the Solitaire 200 series safe, including the new IBM ThinkPad™ which has a 14 inch screen,” states Michael Kincaid Vice President of Sales and Marketing of the Unican Electronics Division. Custom dimensions are also available as an option.

Other new Solitaire 200 series in-room safe options include ADA compliant keypads, a mechanical override as well as a 200-transaction audit with date, time and printing capabilities. One new interesting feature is the rental option, which enables the hotel manager to control the use of the safe and therefore, charge for it.

The Solitaire 200 series in-room safe comes with a two-year warranty and is now shipping.
