VingCard PERSONA™ Appoints Regional Sales Managers

     DALLAS, TX - Felix Mira, Vice President /PERSONA Division of VingCard North America Group, recently announced the appointment of two regional sales managers for VingCard PERSONA™, the company's educational facilities division.  Designed specifically for use in schools, colleges and universities, the PERSONA product line features a high-security lockset in an off-line, stand-alone electronic locking system that utilizes both magnetic stripe and PIN code technologies for individualized access to facilities.

     The appointment of regional sales managers is part of the company's increased emphasis on the educational market and will provide an increased level of customer service to both new and existing clientele. Steve Jones, who was named as the Eastern Regional Sales Manager for PERSONA, has nearly ten years in the door and hardware industry. He was most recently a representative for Essex Industries, Inc., VingCard's sister company that provides locking equipment and supplies to the commercial construction trade. Steve is based in Roanoke Virginia and will represent PERSONA in the Eastern United States.

     Covering the Western portion of the U.S. will be Hal Kelton, who was named as the company's Western Regional Sales Manager. Also a former Essex representative, Hal has been in the door, hardware and security industry since 1989. He is based in Monterey, California.
