Opening - Access & ID Card Services Manager
The manager coordinates the day-to-day operations of Access and ID Card Services, which is responsible for providing university identification cards and managing access control to residence halls, labs, event spaces and other areas on campus. The manager is the initial contact person for students, staff and faculty. This position plays a vital role in the Division of Student Affairs supporting a culture that is student-centric and focused on student support and learning on a residential campus. The manager is required to develop and have a thorough working knowledge ofthe Bucknell University Identification (BU ID) policies and procedures and possess the technical ability to utilize the software and hardware required in card creation and distribution. The individual must have strong communication skills, be willing to work with many different stakeholders and take initiative in responding to questions and concerns. Occasional weekend and evening hours required; particularly at the beginning and ending of semesters and summer sessions. This role also provides administrative assistance to the student transportation program which offers break shuttles and a weekly campus shuttle service. The position reports to the Director of Housing Services and Access.
