Opening - Administrative Support Associate (Eagle Card Office)
North Carolina Central University's Eagle Card operations is responsible for providing the highest quality of service to schools and departments, administrators, staff and students through its use of the multi-faceted identification program which includes meal plans, book allowances or vouchers, parking decals, POS terminals, debit/credit authorization, GET, security access control, athletic program access, Parking garage card access, CCTV camera recording, self-service banner interfaces for meal plans, book allowances or vouchers and parking decal purchases. The objectives of Business and Auxiliary Services is to improve the operational effectiveness and efficiency of administrators, faculty, staff and students through the use of technology, maintain financial integrity support of the technology that is deployed and to provide adequate services.
The primary purpose of this position is to provide customer service for the Eagle Card Office; this position is the first point of contact for all office operations; responsibilities will include answering questions related to meal plans, book vouchers, various SVC plans using established application software; cashiering functions using POS Micro Terminals. Run close out reports, balancing reports, etc; produce ID cards for customers, answer face to face, telephone and e-mail inquiries; maintaining office supplies, using Microsoft Office to write memos, create spreadsheets and provide other related duties.
