Opening - Application Specialist
The Application Specialist is the administrator of several key housing information systems, as well as manager for data connected with other units and the institution at large. Over the course of the limited term position, Michigan Housing and Student Life Technology Solutions (SLTS) will transition to a new housing management system, and this role will ensure the integrity and operationality of current system (Odyssey HMS), along with several other software systems integral to daily operations (including softphones, Zendesk ticketing system, student ID card operation). The Application Specialist also creates automated reporting mechanisms that can be used by leadership for decision making and real-time operational awareness, and retrieves and prepares data by request for Housing and divisional leadership. This position will have a dotted reporting line to Student Life Technology Solutions.
