The Vice Provost for Student Success – Griz Card invites applications for a Customer & Technical Support Specialist. This position reports directly to the Assistant Director of the Griz Card Center. This position assists with the day-to-day operations of the Griz Card Center, special events, and projects for the Griz Card Center and Griz Card managed systems. They are expected to actively participate in departmental activities, including staff meetings, professional development, and other departmental initiatives.

This position supports the Assistant Director with the overall operation of the front office and all aspects of Griz Card ID production, distribution, and utilization for cardholders and other services provided by the Griz Card Center front counter; follows and enforces policies and procedures to ensure accuracy for products and services provided; works at the front counter as needed; ensures clean and professional office environment is maintained; notifies manager of issues impacting service or products in a clear and timely manner. Position processes payments (cash, check, credit/debit card) through point-of-sale system and online for services or products offered; verifies fees paid on student account by referencing Griz Card and University of Montana systems; maintains accurate records for all ID, badge, and deposit requests; processes UMoney deposits; balances and assists student employees with balancing cash drawer.
