Opening - ID Administrator / Information Technologist I
The ID Office Team provides NetID and ID cards for students, staff and affiliates of MSU, ensuring creation of identities based on identity management best practices. Reporting to the ID Office Manager, the ID Administrator will primarily perform the following duties:
-Provisions NetIDs including ensuring proper creation of identities and working with confidential, sensitive and live data. Provides first and second level support and identity management problem solving for a variety of services tied to MSU NetIDs including but not limited to: password resets, activation issues, and system access issues, duplication of records, disabling, changing, and merging NetIDs.
-Provisions ID cards including determining proper creation of identities and working with confidential and sensitive data. Provides first and second level support and identity management problem solving for the variety of services tied to ID card, including but not limited to issues with: RHS meal plans and Spartan Cash, MSU Police Access Control and parking, MSU Library access, and IM access.
-Responsible for the Affiliate process which includes liaising with affiliated groups to determine their needs and working in Sailpoint create and manage identities and provision initial access.
-Works daily to review, process, and close tickets. Works closely with customers and IT Services teams to analyze and solve problems or needs of technical complexity.
-Performs an array of duties related to the general services provided by the ID office which includes but not limited to communication with customers and departments; collaborates with a variety of IT Services departments on an array of projects and project implementation related to identity management issues; documentation of office procedures; and hiring, scheduling, managing and training of student staff.
