Opening - Assistant Vice President for Auxiliary Services

The Assistant Vice President for Auxiliary Services provides leadership and direction for a $12-14M portfolio of self-supportive, tuition-funded, and student fee-based business units. Operations include a self-operated Food and Beverage Services Operation that includes Residential Dining, Retail (e.g. Chick-fil-a, Starbucks, and others), Concessions, contracted MicroMarts and beverage vending services. The Retail Operations include the self-supported businesses of the UWG Outfitters campus store and Print Services units, along with the institutionally funded Mail Services. Campus Services includes the student fee funded department of Parking & Transportation and management of the UWG ID Card office. The Event Services unit manages the institutionally funded Event Services Department and UWG Commencement Ceremonies. This position provides strategic leadership and direction for the entire portfolio to include oversight of all business plan and capital investment proposals, as well as the ongoing in-year performance management to achieve desired financial and operational results. This role reports to the Vice President for Business and Finance, serves on the President's Cabinet, and supports the mission and vision of the institution through aligning service offerings and financial models that enhance the marketability of UWG while protecting the fiscal sustainability of the units within this scope.
