Award Eligibility
  • Award submissions may be self-nominated or nominated by another NACCU institutional member or by a NACCU corporate member.
  • Nominee must be a member of NACCU to be eligible.
  • Because outcome is decided by the general membership, Awards Committee members may submit for this award.
Nomination/Selection Criteria

Nominees may be self-nominated or nominated by another NACCU institutional member, or a NACCU corporate member. Previous years’ winners cannot submit the same design for award consideration.

NACCU institutional members will vote for the best card design guided by the following provided criteria: visual impact, creativity, and how well the design represents the institution.

Nominees will submit entries to the NACCU Office prior to the designated deadline.

  • Award submissions may be self-nominated or nominated by another NACCU institutional member or by a NACCU corporate member.
  • Nominee must be a member of NACCU to be eligible.
  • Best Card Design: To enter, submit a .jpg of the front of your card to the link provided by NACCU. Be sure that the image is a minimum of 72dpi and 1200 px wide. If your card office offers multiple designs, please choose one. Previous award-winning designs are exempt from re-nomination.
  • If you have any special or interesting details about the design of your card please include these. These details may be used by NACCU marketing for email blasts, social media posts, or to generate participation for future NACCU Best Card Design submissions.
Award Selection

All submitted designs will be voted on by the NACCU membership. There will be open voting online and on display at the annual conference.

Voting guidelines to be shared with voters:

  • Is the design unique, memorable, and cohesive?
  • Does the design “wow” the viewer or leave an impact?
  • Is the design creative and show attention to detail?
  • Does the viewer immediately associate the ID card design with the institution?

The NACCU Office will track the online voting results for those not attending the conference. For each award, the nomination receiving the top votes from NACCU membership will be the award recipient. In the event of a tie, the Awards Committee will make the final decision.
