Opening - Director Communications & Special Projects; Division of Business Services

This position reports to the Associate Vice President and is a member of a three-person team that manages communications, media relations, marketing, customer service, and special projects and initiatives for 15+ different departments and programs under the Business Services Division. Within this diverse portfolio are the University Bookstore, student-facing services (e.g., housing, dining), and campus-wide administrative services such as transportation, trademark licensing, ID card services (PennCard). The position may be called upon to support certain division-wide or University-wide strategic initiatives in communications and events-related functions. The position is responsible for interacting with senior managers and executive leaders and is expected to function with autonomy and limited supervision.
