Opening - Director of Technology Systems
The Division of Public Safety at CU Boulder encourages applications for a Director of Technology Systems! Reporting to the Executive Director of the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Public Safety, the Director of Technology Systems is responsible for the management of enterprise‑level technology platforms, including Milestone (VMS), CCURE (Access Control), and FUSUS (Situational Awareness/Integration). This role ensures the delivery of reliable, scalable, and innovative systems that support CU Boulder’s mission to safeguard its people, assets, and community.
The Director provides leadership in program strategy, governance, vendor and contract management, and system integration, while ensuring alignment with university priorities, IT governance standards, and DPS operational objectives. The position supervises two full‑time Systems Administrators for Public Safety and manages all contract staff, service vendors, and integrators that support the enterprise security systems environment.
