Opening - Field Services Engineer I - On-Site
Provide proactive and reactive technical support for hardware and software used in remote, multi-function and related networking equipment and devices. Services provided include new installations, guidance, upgrades and maintenance. Provide general IT technical support for user sites. Address issues of moderate complexity, engages in work planning, scheduling and prioritization. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: end users, contractors, vendors. This position typically will advise and counsel: NA. This position will supervise: NA.
Responsibilities
Job Duty 1 -
Install new equipment and devices, operating systems, peripherals and maintain existing hardware and software. Configure devices as required.
Job Duty 2 -
Respond to, evaluate and prioritize assigned service orders, for assistance with hardware, software, networking, customer service and other computer-related technologies.
Job Duty 3 -
Perform device monitoring and update necessary applications.
Job Duty 4 -
Provide timely, detailed and accurate reports on service work performed, product performance and follow-up.
Job Duty 5 -
Manage and track inventory. Order new equipment and parts.
Job Duty 6 -
Provide training and consultations and develop end user documentation.
Job Duty 7 -
Participate in the development of standard operating procedures.
Job Duty 8 -
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Technical Diploma, Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Experience
Three to four years of job related experience
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Experience
CDL or other drivers license
