Opening - Electronic Security System Technician- Campus Services

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Reporting to the Electronic Security System Manager within the Emory Police Department, this position is responsible for installation, service, repair and maintenance of computer-based integrated electronic security and control systems including electronic access control systems, CCTV systems, alarm systems and other supportive devices.
• Provides project management coordination through Emory shops and/or outside contractors.
• Interprets building blue prints and works with the Emory design team in programming new construction requirements.
• Ensures warranty compliance for new installations.
• Works with customer department representatives to provide security and safety recommendations.
• Trains staff on the proper use of equipment.
• Maintains electronic security system records and files.
• Performs related responsibilities as required.
