Directly assists and supports in the management and oversight of the College's fire alarm and physical security systems.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provides administrative support related to the implementation, testing, management and repair of electronic fire alarm and security systems throughout the College
  • Assists with the systems maintenance and programming on all access control systems present at all College properties and provides related support as needed
  • Processes access card and key requests
  • Completes basic system settings configuration
  • Coordinates contractor service calls, scheduled testing, and equipment installations
  • Processes and tracks work orders and escalates to supervisor as necessary
  • Maintains required documentation
  • Coordinates with College operations & ITS in areas of cross responsibility such as sprinkler, other fire suppression systems, and IP-based equipment
  • Performs other duties as assigned
