NACCU 2027 Information

To-Do List and Deadlines:

  • Speaker Agreement emailed to Jörrun – Friday, January 16, 2027

  • Updated Presentation title, description, questions –  Friday, January 16, 2027

  •  Audio/Visual Requirements (LCD projector, screen, one mic, laptop provided) –  Friday, January 16, 2027

  • Register for Conference TODAY!

  • Book hotel room - 

  • Complete PowerPoint Presentation – Friday, March 12 2027  email to Jorrun

  • Final PowerPoint Presentation – by Tuesday, March 30, 2027 (this will be uploaded by our A/V company to your session room; any notes, videos and animations will be maintained ) email to Jorrun

  • Note:  A PDF version of your Power Point is uploaded to the mobile app.  Notes and animations will not be visible.

Template

There is no specific conference power point template.  Please use your institution’s or company’s colors and logo. Please use a 16:9 widescreen ratio for your presentation. 

Be sure to include:

  1. Title Page with your session name, speakers’ names and organizations
  2. Information about your campus
    1. Location
    2. Enrollment
    3.  An interesting fact or two
  3. Include your contact information on the last slide

Preparation

  • Begin preparing your slides early
  • Use pictures and graphics
  • Remember the two things you want your audience to learn or be able to do by the end of your session
  • Spell check!
  • Practice Practice Practice
  • Email your slides by the deadlines listed above
  • Bring your 3 – 5 discussion questions with you.  They are a great way to engage your audience.

Onsite

  • Please locate your assigned room prior to your session
  • Arrive 15 minutes early
  • We provide laptop, projector, sound, podium, mic(s)
  • A/V techs will have your presentation pre-loaded with the title slide appearing on the screen
  • Use your microphone! 
  • Repeat the question so everyone in the room can hear it
  • Relax and have fun

Moderator

You will have a session moderator who is a conference attendee.  They will help you get settled, introduce you, ensure session attendees check in via the mobile app, and be available if you need them.  Please introduce yourself to them and let them know if you need anything like a timing reminder. At the end, your moderator will thank you and let attendees know what the next event is.

Wrap Up

If you updated your slides after you sent them, please email them again so we have the latest version.

Follow up with any attendees who had additional questions.
