Application Open: 2027 NACCU Conference Chair

We are now taking applications for the position of NACCU 2027 Conference Chair. The NACCU Conference Chair works with the NACCU Office to assist in planning, guiding and coordinating the association's annual conference. Once selected, they will initially serve a year as Co-Chair prior to stepping into the role of Chair, and must be present at the 2026 conference.

Additional responsibilities of the Conference Chair include but are not limited to:

• In conjunction with the NACCU President and the NACCU Office Staff, recommends topics and speakers for annual conference sessions and professional development educational program.
• Recommends conference schedule within the parameters of contracted space.
• In conjunction with the Board of Directors, presides at annual conference activities and functions, sending letter of appreciation as needed.
• Undertakes other tasks as appropriate for annual conference management in collaboration with the NACCU Office staff

Qualifications:

• Must be a full-time staff member at a member institution
• Must have served as a NACCU committee member
• Must have attended an annual conference within the last five years
• Must have experience leading a project or educational program
• Must have approval from and support of their institution prior to applying
