Your NACCU Volunteers,

Meet Your NACCU Volunteers: Cindy Vetter

This is the latest installment of the NACCU series highlighting our association volunteers. NACCU provides programs and services to our members, many which would not be possible without the dedication and commitment of our volunteer leaders. Volunteers, whether they are a committee member, a Board member, or an onsite volunteer at a conference, are all important in making NACCU volunteer-driven programs an exceptional experience for our card industry peers.

Campus Card Information:

Name:  Cindy Vetter

School: University of Northern Colorado, Greeley, CO

Volunteer Role: Member, Volunteer Development Committee

What is your role at your institution?

I serve as the Director of Student Business Services which includes the ID card program, Clubs and Organizations business office, student health center, insurance and immunization offices.

Where was the first NACCU conference you attended?

My first NACCU conference was in LaJolla, California, and I'm pretty sure that was 1994. That was all a blur. But the one I remember well is Orlando in 1995!

What is your favo(u)rite thing about volunteering with your NACCU committee?

My favorite thing about volunteering is getting to work with so many fabulous people! We have such a wealth of information in this association, and it is great to be able to share trials and great outcomes with each other.

What show are you binge-watching right now?

I am not really a binge-watcher, but I enjoy watching reruns of Big Bang Theory.

What is your go-to coffee / tea order?

Good old Folgers coffee with a bit of cream.

What is your favo(u)rite memory from when you were a student?

This may sound odd, but I always enjoyed the first day of classes getting to see so many friends that I didn't see during the summer.

What is one thing that would surprise people about you?

I was a feature baton twirler in my younger days, twirling fire batons at football half-time in high school.

Will you make an New Year's resolutions, and if yes, can you share?

I'm going to quit talking about losing weight (doesn't mean I'm actually GOING to lose weight, but I'm not going to talk about it anymore! Haha!)

We hope you have enjoyed learning about Cindy! Please look for a new edition of "Meet Your NACCU Volunteers" in a few weeks.
