NACCU 2026 Best Video Award Presented to the University of Utah

Phoenix, AZ – April 30, 2026 – NACCU is pleased to announce that the University of Utah has received the NACCU 2026 Best Video Award. Amy Surprenant, End User Business Development, Higher Ed, PACs with NACCU Zenith sponsor HID presented the award during the Awards Luncheon at the NACCU 2026 Annual Conference held on April 2, 2026, in Covington, Kentucky.
Bryon Buchmiller, Director of Ucard at the University of Utah, accepted the award on behalf of the university.
The NACCU Best Video Award recognizes an institution’s use of video to communicate the purpose and intent of the card center. It may promote use of the campus card and other related technology. The recipient is chosen by popular vote from NACCU members.
This year’s Best Video found a creative and entertaining way to highlight the benefits of mobile credentials, while also poking fun at the downside of having to use a physical card. The video is informative, engaging, and showcases a strong promotion of university services.
