Opening - Access Control Technician..

• Under the general direction of the Physical Securities Systems Manager, acts as campus-wide field technical support for assigned access control systems to include, CBORD, Transact, S2 and CBORD access system. Also, as secondary field technical support for PantherCard System, Point of Sale Systems, parking and other Auxiliary and Support Services administrative systems.
• Acts as campus-wide field technical support for assigned access control to include, CBORD, Transact and S2.
• Visits various access control devices as needed to troubleshoot and effect repair or replacement as needed.
• Works with the Physical Security System Manager and vendor representatives in coordinating system and equipment support, maintenance, and repair services with external vendors.
• Provide technical support for other campus card system components as needed, such as point-of-sale terminals, ID production workstations, various card readers or scanners.
• Liaison with campus customers both internal and external via email or phone to provide updates as needed on projects/repairs.
