Your NACCU Volunteers,

Meet Your NACCU Volunteers: Pat Faulkinberry

This is the latest installment of a new NACCU series highlighting our association volunteers. NACCU provides programs and services to our members, many which would not be possible without the dedication and commitment of our volunteer leaders. Volunteers, whether they are a committee member, a Board member, or an onsite volunteer at a conference, are all important in making NACCU volunteer-driven programs an exceptional experience for our card industry peers.

Where was the first NACCU conference you attended?

Nashville - 2001, as a member of the NACCU Office staff.

What is your favo(u)rite thing about volunteering with your NACCU committee?

Getting to know fellow members and feeling like, in some small way, I am helping the association. I wish I had time to do more for the association.

What show are you binge-watching right now?

Great British Baking Show - it all looks so good!

What is your go-to coffee / tea order?

Neither, I am a Diet Coke addict.

What is your favorite memory from your own student days?

I was an RA in an all-Freshman residence hall...a long time ago... when the legal drinking age was 18. That is where I met my husband. Our first encounter was when I wrote-up a group of students for "public display of drunkenness"; it was not love at first sight. It all worked out; we've been married 33 years.

What is one thing that would surprise people about you?

I have 12 kids - one son, one daughter-in-law, one grandson, one daughter, one soon-to-be son-in-law and seven Dwarf Nubian goats.

What is your favo(u)rite fall activity?

Watching  COLLEGE FOOTBALL!!!
