What does your company do?
For over 35 years Unicard has been helping higher education institutions streamline their ID issuance process by understanding each customer's unique issuance process and using feedback from our education implementations, we have been able to automate more of the process, reduce bottlenecks, administration, and labour costs. The new streamlined processes we have implemented have been a major factor in improving the student and staff experience at busy enrolment times. All our software solutions can be installed onsite or as a SaaS using the latest cutting-edge cloud technologies.
What products and services do you provide specifically to campus card operations?
Unicard currently supplies our solutions to over 80% of Australian Universities and has several international sites.

Is there a new product or service you want to tell us about?
Feedback from recent meetings with our international customers and potential partners has indicated that our Print My ID kiosks are of great interest to them. It seems that even though we have been installing these Kiosks in Australia for many years, there doesn’t seem to be a similar solution worldwide.
This was especially the case for Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) which approached us through our USA partner to supply our kiosks to their university. The first order was for five and recently they placed another order for six more, for a total of 11 kiosks. The Kiosks were purchased to offer their students and staff the flexibility of 24/7 ID card issuance outside of normal student service centre business hours.
What are you hoping to gain from your NACCU membership?
Unicard looks to start building long term relationships with higher education institutions in North America.
We understand that we will have to build trust and prove our commitment and ongoing support to the educational institutions in North America
I think there would be no better way to do this than through NACCU. Listening and understanding the users, processes and requirements will really help us provide a better service to our potential partners.
It’s also the first time I have ever seen this type of membership for campus card administrators and vendors. I wish we had the same type of membership association here in Australia.
